Graduate Student Health Insurance Update

OSU will continue to subsidize graduate health insurance for graduate teaching and research assistants; however, the subsidized will be roughly 87% instead of 100% of cost. This will require that GTA/GRAs be charged a $20 post-tax premium each month during their payroll cycle. For instance, if a GTA is hired with an August effective date - s/he will owe $20 for August and every future month until her/his last payroll. If the last payroll is in May, coverage will continue through July but no premium will be due for the GTA/GRA's individual coverage.
